What types of sarees do you offer?: We carry a wide range of sarees — Cotton, Silk, Semi-silk, Chanderi, Handloom, Banarasi, and Designer sarees — all selected for comfort and style.
Do you sell ready-to-wear sarees, or do they require stitching?: All our sarees come in unstitched form along with an attached blouse fabric. They are not pre-stitched, so you can customise the saree to your fit and style.
How do I care for my saree?: Hand wash or dry clean for silk and handloom sarees.
Use mild detergent for cotton sarees.
Store silk sarees in a muslin cloth to maintain their shine.
Do your sarees shrink or fade after washing?: No — our sarees are colour-tested and pre-shrunk to maintain their original beauty.

What materials are your kurthas and salwar sets made of?: Each kurtha and salwar combination is thoughtfully made from hand-selected fabrics such as pure cotton, silk, chanderi, and rich blends — chosen for their luxurious feel, breathability, and inherent elegance. Each piece reflects quality and comfort.
Do you offer stitched and unstitched salwar materials?: Yes — we have both stitched sets and unstitched dress materials, so you can choose what suits you best.

What products are included under home furnishings?: We offer bed sheets, pillow covers, and bathing towels — all made from quality cotton and/or blended fabrics.
Are your home furnishing fabrics washable?: Yes, most fabrics are machine washable unless specifically noted. For embroidered or handloom pieces, we recommend gentle hand washing.
Can I customise home furnishing products?: Of course! We provide hotel and hospital furnishing products at competitive prices — and you can even add your company name. Note that customisation is subject to a minimum order quantity (MOQ).

Are your handloom products handmade?: Our handloom section features cotton, running materials, dhotis, Turkey fabric, blouses, mull, thorth, bedsheets, casement, bed covers, kerchiefs, lungis, nighties, and nighty bits. These are not handmade, but machine-woven using high-quality handloom-style fabrics to ensure durability and comfort.
How should I care for handloom items?: Hand wash separately in cold water with mild detergent, and dry in the shade.
Does the colour of handloom fabrics fade over time?: With the right care, the colours stay richly distinctive for years. Use mild detergent and avoid soaking the fabric for extended periods.

What types of dhothis do you sell?: We offer traditional white, kasavu-bordered, cotton, and silk dhothis for all occasions — from daily wear to weddings.
What are the washing and care instructions for a dhothi?: To retain quality and brightness, wash your dhothi in cold or lukewarm water with mild detergent. Avoid bleaches and strong chemicals. Air dry in the shade and iron while slightly damp to minimise wrinkles.
What fabrics are your shirts made from?: Our shirts are made of high-quality cotton, linen, and blends suited to tropical climates like Kerala.
Do you have formal and casual shirt options?: Yes — we carry a variety of formal and casual styles across the formality spectrum, in sought-after fabrics with contemporary cuts.

Do you accept bulk or wholesale orders?: Yes. Calicut Textiles serves both retail and wholesale customers. For bulk orders and special pricing, please contact us directly.
